Large lot for Leutnant in 209 Inf. Reg.

    Hi Gents.

Before posting this large lot for the same Officer on E-Stand, I want to post it here. I think it is posted somewhere before, but I think this lot can be posted again

It is a large lot for the same Leutnant named Theiding, serving in 209 Inf. Reg.
    The lot are consisting of:
    Visor
    Tunic
    Trousers
    Boots
    Belt
    Mapcase
    Dagger
    Dogtag
    Medals
And last, but not least, A picture of the Leutnant in the tunic.
(There are also a COA on the lot)

First a few pictures of the lot:

    And here on display:

    Here are Leutnant Theiding.

Please notice the 2 button from the top.. It's a bit to the left. Compare with the picture of Theiding..
When I have the tunic in hand, it's also easy the see that the eagle are the same. But this is hard on these pictures.

    Now a few close-up pics..

The red/white/black cord around the shoulderboard means that 209 Inf. Reg. was a part of 58th Infantry division. There is a small thread about it here:
    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=729786

His medals. Notice the patina on the reverse of the EK1.. Perfect match to the pocket..

And now how Theiding recived his Black Wound badge..

    Inside of tunic..

Hole through the tunic with clear traces of blood, although he probably tried to remove it..

I think this is a really nice and quite rare lot, with a lot of history.
    Hope you liked it
