    Strange uniform Oranienburg 1940

    Hi guys,

Today I got this picture and I would like to identify which unit this man belongs to. The collar tabs look like SS ones but there is nothing on the right one.

More info: on the back is written "Auf Wache! Im Dez. 1940 in Oranienburg" and lower: "Sonntagswache". In German that means "On Duty! December 1940 in Oranienburg" / "Sunday guard"

This text could point towards a concentration camp guard as there was one in Oranienburg (together with lots of others stuff though...). Did KZ guards have collar tabs without the SS or the Totenkopf ?

    Thanks in advance

Maybe he is LW? Medical or Bau? and gulls missing on the tabs? Early tunics and overcoats came with LW tabs factory applied
and the gulls would be added later by the owner depending on the rank (and here not applied yet)...
The very shiny buttons could also be an indicator of LW. Too bad the shoulderstraps are not clearly visible...
Oranienburg airport was also a Heinkel test facility and LW base... Just a hunch!

Here some Luft ones (yellow farbe) with no gulls attached...The darker tabs could be Blue "Sani" medical or Black "Bau" Eng.

Could be NSKK Transport Regiment der Luftwaffe: they wore black NSKK tabs, often without devices.
