I posted this in the SS section because I thought it was SS but Im told its Heer . Can any one tell me more about it please . What rank is it , is it genuine and what a ballpark value is ? Thanks guys .

This chevron is for a Heer Obergefreiter. The "pip" signifies 6 years of service. It was discontinued during the war and replaced with the standard Obergefreiter chevron with a smaller "pip".

Not sure of the value.
