Unknown Wehrmacht Combination RBNr. please help

    Hi all,

this is fresh from an attic and I dont know what it is. Is somebody able to sheed some light in ?
The pockets have two openings, one with a normal pocket bag and another slit were you can put through to wear another pair of pants under it.

    Any ideas ??

The RBNr. appears to be a (bogus) cap stamping (size 56) added to a post-war mechanics coverall.

That cannot be true. The coverall was pulled out of an East German attic by myself. Noone thouched this since the war.
The 56 is the size which is also on the small white tag which is sewn to the neck.

Here is the same Kombi also with a 52 size stamp. It surely has something to do with it being a coveralll so the common size markings from tunics do not aplly here.

The stamp is like the ones i'm used to se in those coveralls.

But there are some details differents in construction comparing models commonly seen, like the lack of butoning around colar for a removable hood.

Only different is, that the buttons on the collar is missing
