this came to me with a large selection of German items so I assume it is German. Can anyone tell me what it is and if it is original. Not sure I have this in the correct section?

Spanish Eagle

Hi Andy,

It's Spanish actually. I have seen this type of eagle attached to the fronts of Spanish helmets. Don't knpw a heck of a lot more than that though. Maybe someone else will come on with more info.

Hi Andy, sadly nothing to do with the Spanish volunteers of the "Blue Division". Just post war Spanish.

emblem FAKE

that emblem is Spanish is used in the front of the helmet until the years 80 that change with the entrance from Spain to NATO I tyengo several helmets with these emblems and his seems to me fake I feel by you andy a greeting
