Once in awhile you find that salty stripped uniform that nobody wants, but you see a diamond in the rough. I picked up this old ragged original M-43 tunic and added the insignia's until a nicer one came along. It grew on me so I kept it.

I did some amateur repairs. Still looked rough, but I would rather have one rough original tunic than 10 beautifully made reproductions. Here is the inside of the 1943 Tunic: -

I own a very salty M43 that displays well on a manniquin. I'm glad to have it. Yours looks great on display. Even without the camo smock yours would look just fine with field gear, etc.
