Both Mantles seem to be authentic. By the depot stamp, the second M40 Mantle was made in 39 and may have a replacement collar. However, I don't like the PZ Grenadier/Jager shoulder straps. Steve

Both originals. But the first one is M42 not M40. The second one is M40. Both used.

Size of the collar - M42 has bigger ( wider ) collar than M40.
