Want to show my Norge rings.

My great uncle drove an LST during the war and transported pow’s following the d-day invasion. In his souvenirs he brought back there was a few pieces of kriegsmarine insignia and a “Norge” ring and match safe. Both have a matching motif with a Viking ship. As a kid I never put much thought in them and it wasn’t until later when I learned about the large number of KM and KA captured following the invasion who had served in Norway prior to duty in France that they took on a whole new significance.
