Waffen-SS dot pattern Uniform for Panzercrews

    Hi guys

I did have my hands on this one to a fair price. What do you think of this. The uniform was bought in 1948 in Germany and comes from a very true source. Therefore I don't think it will be a fake. The armeagle is RZM style for enlisted men not for officer but I have been told that this was very common. The shoulderboards have black background with pink piping. Well it would be nice to get some opinions. Thanks Jürg.

    Hello Jürg,
can we see the inside please? and any stempel on either pants or jacke. The originals should have a "wavy line" stitch to the underside of the collar, not the zig-zag stitching. What pattern of stitching does this one have?

Colours look nice. But let's have a look at the underside of the collar and the lining.
    Cheers. Mfg, Wade.

      Hi Panzer

Jurg sorry to drop in like this
      Can´t help much, but...
      concerning the ´wavy line ´

I have a HBT mod 43 heer infantrie tunic, that also has this sort of stitching under the collar - Is this normal for Heer issue??
Because al the HEER HBT-tunics I saw have zig-zag!, except for mine

      Are they more rare?
      thx in advance

          Hi Jürg and Wade,

Sad to say but the wavy line under the collar is no longer infallible (if it ever was) - just saw a repro with that feature....Wade you know the source.

Need better pictures of inside and out to make a call. Cheers,

          Mike

                        Hi Jürg,

Without having it in my hands, I do like some things: the offset on some of the camouflage which shows the white base material and the lack of distinct bleed through of the camo pattern. Cut seems OK. Would suggest your pursue this, get an iron clad inspection/return policy and send it to a local camo expert for appraisal. If you don't know anybody, let me know and perhaps I can hook you up. Good luck,

                        Mike

                          NIce!

This piece has some little details that one still dosn't see on repro pieces...wont say exactly what..but it sure looks good!
