It looks like it has all the details of a standard officer's leather overcoat. What I cannot clearly see is if the buttons on the front are original as they have a longer shank than any other buttons found.

The long shanks on the front buttons is proper. That's a nice example of a (probably) army (Heer) officer's leather overcoat. Looks like a large size, too.
I would be interested in it if you sell it.
