I can,t tell about the cap but the eagle is a reproduction
I will add 2 or 3 type,s of the sam bird so you can compare it
with the eagle on the cap you showed

Oyeeha and do take a look ,the eagle will also try to touch the swastika
with one of his claws

Looks to me that one of your eagles John the same as eagle on a hat,
the only difference I see that one on a hat is a little wrinkled.

I also did the burn test and there is no synthetics and black light ok.

Hello Alikn ,the eagle,s that I posted are all of the same construction
But when you use differnt thread,you get some other eagle at first glance
but the eagle that is on your hat is the same as the other 3 I posted

I think the cap is good myself. The construction and quality is there IMO of an oringinal. As for the insignia I do not know for sure but the soutache looks untouched! Beautiful if real
