    Heer Shoulder Strap Opinions Please

If you are a tunic collector sometimes you might get something with slip on shoulder straps that are questionable. Here are some sets I removed from uniforms that I have purchased in the past but the uniforms were all original so I just kept the uniforms and put these away in the "just maybe " box.

Could I get your opinions on these.

First up are a Jaeger set (I guess) They have a internal stiffener of some kind added between the top and bottom layers of wool.. I was never sure on these.

Early Infantry...Not sure what to think of these...Have spoke to some collectors who saw similar types back to the early 1970's.

From your pictures (and admittedly not being an insignia collector), I would not be comfortable with any of them Sir.

                    B. Regards

                      Thanks Bryon,

Pretty much how I feel as well but I was never 100% sure.

                      Anyone else?

                      With regards

I think the Panzers have a good chance of being original, the others; not so much.

                          Thanks,

Yes,I believe so...My only concern was that the 2 pieces of material on the reverse sewn in a zig zag did not have a seam...After looking at them again they do in fact have a seam but really tight together (very hard to see even when folded)

I like the piping type on these as well.Glad I brought them out for another look.

                            IMO the medical are repros.
EM infantry are sewn in type with tongue added later ( when ? ) ,better pictures will tell it ?
                            Jäger : unusual but good
NCO infantry : issue with grey wool trousers pieces on the back .
                            Pz : ok no problem
                            Nick

I agree with that. Not exactly sure what your opinion is on the "NCO infantry": To me they are ok.

                              Cheers
