WW2 German Heer & Luftwaffe Tan & Water Camo Smock

Soo, recently I found this: http://i.imgur.com/WQ4SMg4.jpg
I showed it to my friend and he said I shouldn't get it, just because he hasn't seen it before. However he's a reenactor. So I ask, did this camouflage pattern exist during the time period? Did they look like this? It sure looks convincing to me.

Also I want to find a smock of the same sort with the hood included in splittertarn camo but they are literally no where to be found. I stressed myself a whole day just to find one and I had no luck. Has any one got an idea where I can get one?

I live in New Zealand so I'll need shipping, of course, even my dinner requires shipping.

I hope I am using this forum correctly, I'm probably making an accident as I speak, I am new here and look forward to spending my time here and getting help from others!

Welcome to the forum. The smock you link to is a poor quality reproduction. A similar pattern was made during the war, but the colors are way off. Search the forum for water pattern smocks and you will see what I mean.

Skorzy I saw one of these on eBay. Seller had 7 for sale. They were supposedly repros made out of origional material. They weren't cheap at $ 400 or best offer. I don't have a link but I stumbled upon them sunday. Cheers
