Questions - Artillery NCO's Parade Tunic

I’ve bought this artillery waffenrock the end of May at a collectors club meeting – I'm confident its original, general condition is good, no tears, no moth holes, stains, quite clean. I do have two questions - there are 8 buttons, which year did they adopt a 7 button model ? second question last Friday at the military fair in Freising there were a couple artillery parade tunics on offer, out of curiosity I looked them over they too had stitched on collars albeit rather more neatly done than on mine (picture 7) what was the idea behind fitting collars on extra ? any information welcome

          Hi
          I don't think that a 7 buttoned Waffenrock ever existed.Yours is a nice one,matching with a nice patina.Private purchased one.I wouldn't mind for the collar stiching either.

Thanks Gentlemen for the posts. I must have got my lines crossed thinking about 8 and 7 button tunics
