Yep,that's what I thought...All that really matters is that the items shown are original.

      Gentlemen:

This thread was brought to my attention. Thank you for all of the kind words of praise.

The book does have typos. To be fair, these are entirely my fault and no fault of Schiffer Publihimg. The final responsibility for editing ultimately falls to me as the authors.

I am especially sorry for the improperly captioned contributions and will correct them to the best of my ability.

Volume 2 is currently in layout and we will include a corrections page for Volume 1.

Please use my WAF profile to email me corrections that you think should be or need to be made...and between my editor and I, we will work to get them stated.

        Book

Any faults are minor in comparison to the amount of material shown and covered. I am impressed with the organizational skill needed to process information from so many sources!

No problem, Scott. The mix ups really don't bother me at all. The fact that you put all this together is truly amazing and this collector thanks you for your excellent works.

Looking forward to getting a hands on with Volume 1. I'm contemplating buying all four volumes as a set.

Given the positive reviews and the reputation set forth by Scott's outstanding Uniforms and Insignia of the Grossdeutschland Division, I'm certain this is going to be an invaluable source of information on the subject of Panzer uniforms.

It is really good, matter of fact no other book on wraps even comes close! I can't wait for the rest of the series to be released. a real whopper of a book with great content showing wraps and their details as never before seen in the other books on the subject.

Sir No need to correct anything on my account. (It is my nature to have my collection remain “anonymous,” and it was only a result of strong persuasion that I chose to have my contributions credited to me.)

Of most importance is that you have taken on a Very Ambitious project concerning an area of collecting, which has remained (up until now) very poorly addressed.

As it has already been said, your final product will remain unparalleled on the topic of wraparounds for many decades to come!

It was an Honor and my Privilege to be asked to participate in the work’s creation; and for that, I will never be able to thank you sufficiently!

                  Best regards, your Friend,

                  Bryon Singer

If you can afford the entire set I would suggest buying it. The classic Angolia/Schlicht books on Heeer and LW are good examples of why it is smart to purchase these books when you can. If they are out of print they cost much more. These books will be classic references for a long time to come.
