I'm pleased to show an illustration of display of this very rare - and short lived - White Panzer Pants, wich might help all the not well informed collectors who actually don't know about the production of these pants.

    I'm joking of course.

Nice Derka, those are the very early pattern white panzer pants, you can tell by the "1" which means this was the first prototype pair made.

        Thank you Alfred.
Notice I revealed a jealously guarded secret showing those pics, mostly invisible on period pics; the front closure of those rare pz pants has 4 buttons...

          pants

The "1" actually refers to "going #1" and there should be a "2" on the back side. Very helpful in a snow storm.

BTW, this thread has been a GAS so far !!!

*** Wouldn't it be humiliating if "HundePantsstaffel" actually posted that original production Order ??? God, I hope he doesn't....

Go ahead and post it, I would love to see it and I read German. They may be for another type of low production trouser but the ones posted in the the photo are the regular issue parka trousers.

That's funny! 1 is front and 2 is back. and I always thought those were size numbers!
Great mannequin btw! A more affordable solution (instead of panzer pants!)

In post #43 you can see an image of the "white" denim uniform (Drillich) which is probably what your friends are thinking about. If you have order for something that probably is what it is describing. The pants are very different than the cold weather winter trousers.

You can post this order if you wish, it would certainly be interesting.
But it will not change the fact that white trousers shown in the pic you sold are standart winter reversible pattern, like those :

If it are indeed the rare White Panzer Pants that are shown on that photo, it is possibly the Panzer Regiment Mövenpick design.

If Lord Loudmouth could be so kind and please post that original production order, it would make so much clear for all of us.

                        Best regards
