Question on windjacke!

Hello everybody,
I always wondered what the "three chest pocket" windjacket and pants are specifically designed for: general purpose, gebirgstruppen, ski-jagers, panzergranadiers....or else?
In particular, the green/white rubberized version, which I've been recently offered.
What can be an average price for a jacket/pants set like this?
Many many thanks in advance to anyone who can give some suggestion!

Hi Daniele,

First ... what you describe is not the Windjacke but the Windbluse. The Windjacke is the green overcoat with the double button row that was only handed out to Mountain troops. ( mind you, not every Gebirgsjaeger got one ! ).

The Windbluse was intended for Mountain troops, but was later used by many more branches. The trousers were less popular then the Windbluse itself and are therefore much harder to find these days.

The price is, as allways, depending on the condition. But I guess will be in the ragne EUR 600 to EUR 900.
