    Dear Gents,
this jacket has gone yesterday on ebay and I am wondering it it was a converted original, or a converted reproduction. Even the material looks strange for me. What do you think?

It has gone for 60-70eur as I remember, so not a horror amount for the buyer I think.

IMO it was made from postwar polish pattern of sumpftarn camuflage ( Polish People's Army was using sumpfatrn pattern near postwar till early sixties - it was very similar to wartime pattern but colors were a bit diffrent ).

For sure not a piece from Polish clothes. What Polish "polish" sumpftarn ???
Postwar Polish camo clothes wz.56 were similar in design to splitter camo, but not sumpftarn :

Ok, you are right. My mistake.
But I'm sure I have seen somewhere postwar sumpftarn camo used by some socialist People's Armies of soviet zone countries - if I'm nort wrong Czechoslovaks used this pattern of camo or early DDR .
