Hey guys , we'll as strange as this is, I bought a Oberleutnant M36 greatcoat about 2 weeks ago from the grandson of a veteran who brought it home, he used it to wrap china and silverware and whatever else he brought home out of Norway.
We'll there was a bulge in the cuff I noticed so I decided to stick my hand in and investigate and what I found was this Reichmark with Hindenburg on it and these insignia. They are a fine silver color with a very fine white paint making the silver pop. They are both mint and I'm wondering. Why they may have been there. On a crumpled up piece of paper there was a name. Manfred Ulrich and these were wrapped inside.
So, what are they? Thanks!!
