    Anyone knows what type of insignia is this?

    KM coastal defense naval unit... (a star fish). The Marineartillerieabteilung that used this insignia was at one time based in Ijmuiden, Netherlands.
    Such a cap with "Seestern" embroidered unit emblem is depicted in Wilhelm Saris' book - Headgear of Hitlers Germany - Vol.1.
    See also anchor devise on shoulderstrap of NCO candidate with helmet. Clearly KM troops!
