Dear all,
This is a nice albeit never before seen cloth item: a more or less 'standard' 'Panzer' collar-tab (as worn on the black wrap-around tunics) that shows some unidentified embroidery.
The piece is in an overall nice condition and seems to have been once tunic-attached (stitching-remains are still visible). It shows an embroidered 'key', a capital 'W' character and the initials (?) ie. small characters: 'W.F.G.'.
The piece is of unquestionable originality: I acquired it in the US where it was once mounted (ie. stapled) on a swastika-flag which was period framed.
I deem it a nice piece.....But what is it? All possible clues are most welcome....
Best regards,
Coco
