    Panzer collar tabs

    Hello !

    Need opinions about these PZ collar tabs. Any thougths about authenticity ?

    Hi Alex, earlier tabs used to have wool piping instead of rayon which made the piping (wool) to appear thicker all around than the rayon made ones. However the tabs in discussion have an Extra thick piping which IMHO I don't think it's right. Even the four corners of the tabs appear very rounded...I would personally pass on these. They could be a variation and original but this hobby has gotten too expensive for me in order to bother with IF this and IF that....

      While to materials used in the construction of the set looks about right, they do not conform in dimensions or shape. The impression of the Totenkopf on the front somehow does not seem to match what one would expect to see on the reverse...I know that is a lousy statement, but to my eye, it looks quirky. My impression is they are probably not original varaiations...
