    Resistance holding up German soldiers

    Hi Guys,

DonĀ“t know if this is the right place I have posted this photo.

Can any of you see if there is any clues to the approx. year this is taking place. There are also some discussions if it is reconstructed or real, so any opinion is welcome.

It is part of a film camera sequence taking place in Denmark, most likely Copenhagen.

    Thanks Guys.

They don't look like the typical resistence members but rather like secret police...Perhaps the police decided to take over control and arrest german soldiers once sure the war was ending?

closest german is ss and they may be something on his sleeve just above the cuff tradepatch maybe the danish friekorps looks like they were snuck up on without a fight notice the guy with the gun in pocket has a hold of his mp40 very interesting photo

Are you sure the guy with the MP40 is an SS? Might he not be NSKK or similar? look at his boots, they are laced up, and the eagle on the M43 doesn't look exactly as an SS one to me. I could be mistaken anyhow.

It could be a standard SS hat eagle folded as a trapazoid or perhaps a SS-VT type eagle.

              Hi Guys,

I am not so much into this, but could it be Danish volunteers from a Unit like Regiment Nordland?

So what would happen to a Dane who joined the WSS?
