    OKH or OKW waffenrock

Have any of you guys ever seen a real one or photos of a real one?

It looks like one was posted years ago but it was debunked as a put together tunic and the photos are gone.

If you own one show it.

    Brian,

Are you referring to General Staff Waffenrocks? If so, here is an original named to Generalleutnant Friedrich Sixt when he was an Oberst with the General Staff.

This is for a General Staff officer, other Officers and enlisted personnel assigned to OKH/OKW also wore Carmine to burgundy piping. I have seen Waffenrocks for them, they usually are misidentified as Veterinarian missing the snake device.

Some of the officers assigned as staff and adjutants etc to the Ministry and OKH wore the gold Kolbenstickerei collar tabs from 1936 until the middle of the War but not all officers did. After the change all officers wore either the uniform of their last assignment or a basic uniform with Carmine piping. OKH Enlisted and NCOs wore carmine waffenrocks with normal carmine piped collar tabs. The image of the tab is from member "Kurt" and an earlier thread. It is loose and just placed on the collar to show what it would look like.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

Kurt's tab Now resides in my collection. I have a few more collar tabs and a couple cuff tabs. But does an officer's wafferock with the gold on carmine exist in any collection? I have never even seen a photo of one.
