The piping is very unusaly. Totaly mint und unused boards, like they are made yesterday. The woven GD letter could be okay but they are not that typical style I like to see on 100% original EM/NCO boards.
            It's just my opinion.

            Cheers,

                Steiner,
thank you for you help …

IMO the woven GD letter have more than chance to be ok !
nevertheless you are right when you tell that these materials are not so often seen … but they could be ok for a late war pair of shoulder boards
then indeed construction is what we can see at close to end of war !

                  Hi,
too much oddities for me (IMHO)......
                  I'd pass on them.....
                  All my best

LOTHRINGEN, of course they could be okay, because latewar etc.
I know they are extrem rare. If you need a pair of GD pioneer boards you can wait 5 and more years till you find a original pair.

The problem on this pair will always be the big question about the originality.
I would rather let them go and look for an absolut 100% correct pair as one whitch has red falgs.

                      Cheers,

                        M-44 GD Straps

I don't recall seeing a M-44 strap before with embroidery (number & letters) that did not go all the way through the strap.

X2. I would pass on these.

Here is an example of what Schulterklappen is talking about:

Collector's Guild has a nice set of M-40 GD Pioneer Straps for an another example of this type of embroidery.
