Sorry, I didn't mean pre-war, and had meant to say pre-1945. They are original.

Nice original pair, they probably are mid to late war and are for a Weapons officer or Field Police.

Ordnance officers also wore this color from June-Aug 1944 and officers of the Engineer Corps and academy 39-42+-. PreWar and early War it was also worn by supplementary officers.
