Was this soldier in Unteroffizierschule?? Shoulder board/unit help

Hi, I have this grouping of this soldier and I was wondering if this a picture of him in Unteroffizierschule since he is wearing prewar shoulder boards.

Below is the picture and his Wehrpass, please note the identical signature block.

What I do know is he enlisted on 29.8.39 (unit: 2./ l.-E.-B 352) and was promoted to Unteroffizier on 1.143. Also on the next post there is a picture when he enlisted and one as a NCO. Also what page is NCO School on in the Wehrpass? Thank you for your help.

I don't think so, just issued what was available. However I answered this in your original thread:

I can not see why he would be wearing 115 on them as originally it looked like US - Unteroffizierschule in your original thread. Unless he was on a course that is not mentioned in the Wehrpaß?

      Inf.Ers.Btl. 115 was in Darmstadt, Wehrkreis XII, under Inf.Ers.Rgt. 33 (Bataillon 104, 110, 115), Division Nr. 172.

Inf.Ers.Btl. 352 was in Worms also Wehrkreis XII, November 1940 it transferred to Luxembourg. It was under Inf.Ers.Rgt. 246 (Bataillon 313, 352, 404), Division Nr. 182.

Now the only connection between the two is on 10.06.1942 Division Nr. 172 received Inf.Ers.Rgt. 246 (Bataillon 313, 352, 404) in Luxembourg from Division Nr. 182. Division Nr. 172 then transferred Rgt. 112 (Battalion 110, 256,437,438) to Chalons.

So, is the photo from 1942 and he was on a course or leave? That would make him an Obergefreiter at least.

He was promoted to Obergereiter on 1.4.42 but was located in Russia. Also to let you know the back of the photo with the 115 it does say "Worms." And thanks again for helping me learn.
