Perhaps ghost of an edelweiss on the inside right sleeve?

the greatcoat is original! It is a decent size as well. The collar seems to be modified with a taller collar and two hook and eye configuration. Could have been modified for an officer?

I agree that the modified collar likely indicates wear by an officer. For an E-Stand price maybe $400?
