Artillerie soldat caught doggin' around, 70 years later

    Hi All,

Apologies if this seems silly and/or frivolous, but hey - it's the weekend. It is posted just to make you smile. I like to pick up portrait postcards from time to time, and I recently realised that I had evidence of a soldat slipping the leash and misbehaving. The first four pics are cards that I have. The fifth comes from page 37 of John Angolia's "Uniforms and Traditions..." Vol 2. In the first four, the lad is clearly involved with a blonde. In the fifth, he has switched his attention to a brunette.

    All the best,

    Mark

He reminds me of a young Richard Gere in the last photo..

The last one could also be his Sister, family poses like that were also common.

Good point. All the same, I think he might qualify for a whole new trade patch! As for the design of it, the mind boggles. It might get the forum shut down! I am going to keep an eye out for any more postcards featuring this smooth operator, he's definitely one to watch.
