Real or reproduction signal shoulder boards

I had three people look at these signal shoulder boards today that were on my EM tunic. One person thought they were of a made of a more desirable and more valuable material, another wasn't sure and a third flat out said they were reproduction. I'm still left scratching my head. Any suggestions?

Here's the original thread about the tunic in which these shoulder boards belong:

Heer HBT boards were manufactured but are very rare. For every original pair there probably are 50 fake pairs or more. Can you post better images of them, front and back etc.

From the poor picks they seem like fake boards for sure.

That's two for repro. Does the eagle look like it has been re-attached. Again I had varying remarks made about that too. One said it was original and untampered and another said it was reapplied/resewn.

Yes, the eagle has been (very poorly) re-attached.

Although the eagle looks to be reapplied, it is authentic and original correct?

I have the opinion that the Heer made no HBT straps.

There is an on-going debate about that and that all known period examples are LW, I am not real sure about that. The RH made boards in Drillich for the light weight summer uniform. I suspect it continued in the WH as well maybe on a very small scale.
