No but if they are not desired is there any other Thread for reproduction were I can post them?

If I were king, producing counterfeit militaria would be punishable by the "death of a thousand screams". However a thread devoted to such rubbish would not bother me so much as long as it was described as such. I agree they do not belong here with the beloved originals of insignia collectors.

I am a bit biased; but, putting the repros on here is like hanging a velvet Elvis painting in the Louvre!

OK guys lets get this outstanding thread back on track

Apologies for the duplication from the original post.

Recently another member gave me the opportunity and it was too hard to resist...

A nice set of sun faded DAK Pz/PzJg Feldwebel straps. The tresse has been hand sewn. The pips each have one prong broken off and have been tightly sewn down onto the straps. The ghosts under the tresse and pips match the buttonhole ghost.

In the first/upper photo the upper strap has had it's outer stitch line on the tresse hand sewn by looping the thread over the tresse and underneath. This was done all the way around the outer edge and across the top of the attached tresse as well as up the inside stitch line to about the buttonhole. Then the tresse is attached by hand using a straight stitch inside the seam on the tresse to finish the interior circumference and also the lower stitch line across the attached tresse. The lower strap in the first photo only has the straight stitch line used for the entire tresse. Which implies the NCO/tailor added the tresse on the first strap by looping and then went to the easier straight stitch in transition.

Think it's alot easier see, than to try to explain...

The last photo compares the rosa piped naturally faded straps with the set of chemically bleached DAK Art straps. As always all comments welcome ?

                              Hi
I have a m44 Tunic with a cotton label inside saying
Klimax. It looks like a makers label?
                              Any ideas?
The label is white cotton with blue writing stitched into it saying Klimax this is stitched into the lining of the tunic. The tunic looks original with original buttons etc?
                              Many thanks Kev
