Here is a pair of Reichsheer period shoulder straps for a Unterfeldwebel rank equivalent attached to Sanitaets Abteilung 6. Notice the staff of Asclepius was added later; since, the embroidery goes through the strap.

Panzer Regiment 31

A strap, most likely from a Waffenrock, for an enlisted man of Panzer Regiment 31, 5. Panzer Division. Though a prewar unit, items (straps and boards) are difficult to find. I assume this was because it was garrisoned in the east, Wehrkreis VIII.

I must confess this one has me puzzled. These straps are 1934 style and the Waffenfarbe seems to be an early Nachrichten brown. Does anyone know what this cypher represents?
