So here are a couple of really hard to find boards. They go to a whole grouping of rare boards that belonged to a Recon NCO. The copper brown on is probably rarer than Hen's teeth... Matt

Thanks Glenn, I am going to have my parents send me the riker mount with all of the other boards so I can get a whole group shot of all of these boards together. It was an expensive endeavor but very cool.

Kradschutzen Battalions did switch to the copper/brown color in 1941 (I would have have to dig through some of my books for the exact dates) and the color changed from the Green (often associated with PzGrn) to copper brown for a brief 6 month to a year period if I'm not mistaken. The Krad Battalions were eventually done away with and became Recon assets with in the larger units.

Lastly, with this board in particular, I am the only person who has to like it and enjoy it and I assure you I sleep well at night with it sitting in my collection. Its hands down one of the rarest boards that I own (right up there with the chain stitched green "K" boards I posted sometime back in this thread) and I am very fortunate to have it. Matt
