        Hello,
I have a question abut collar tab with green piped and skull from post nr 805 / 806 in this tread?
What branch or unit use it on uniforms? For me it is very strange combination: panzer skull and grenadier / GJ green piping…
Was this insignia used by GJ assault artillery?

        Thanks in advance

        Best regards
        Hindus

IMO this grass green color (wiesengrün) is for panzergrenadiere, not for gebirgsjäger.

I have to agree with Derka that Glen's tab has the meadow green branch color worn by Panzergrenadiere. This is often called "lime green" by collectors. The Hellgrün (darker green) was the color worn by GJ. Although during the war, especially during the last two years you could find GJ wearing meadow green and Panzergrenadiere wearing Hellgrün! One Panzergrenadier veteran who wore Hellgrün stated that this color was all tht was available to him. Such was the supply situation in the last years.
            Hope this helps.
            Regards,
            Mike

The set came with a matching pair of m44 woven officer panzer tabs.

                          AWSOME BOARDS!

                          Here is a selection from Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment 16.

I am looking for anything related to the 16. Panzer-Division, sub units of the Division and Pionier / Panzer-Pioniere-Bataillon 16.

                          Thank you
