Help needed !! Gew. Uffz. Korps Stab u. N. Zug P18

Hi gents !
I bought a statue today that had a plaque attached to it with the text:

Gew. Uffz. Korps
Stab u. N. Zug P18

Can anyone give me any info on this ?
Seller says it's some pioneer batalion but I have no clue so please help me out :-)

Gew. is probably "gewidmet" or dedicated to the NCO Corps of the unit.

I cannot tell you if it is original but the best translation of the abbreviations IMO would be for the "Staff and Signals Squad of Pioneer (Battalion) 18". I would post the whole thing for discussion. They love to find post War stuff and add little plaques.

The eagle statue itself is a known original but I have no clue on the plaque.

Exact Naxos, first the nails look a little strange and the plaque is not aligned with the base. But you will never know with these things.
I have one more of these in my collection and the plaque on that one is period done and have been discused here on the forum before.
It' s of better quality and nicely attached.
