Boards - Heer or ?

Hello,
I bought these last month with no idea what they are (yeah, yeah, stupid I know, but never too old to take chances sometimes). I've been told they are too wide to be SS infantry, but wanted to see if anyone knew what they could be. I believe they are WW2, but if not, let me know. Maybe this old dog can still learn.

Look to be Waffen SS INF LT boards to me, white pipping with the black underlay. Matt

Thanks guys. That's what I felt when I first got them, but wasn't 100% sure, though I felt they were period. I showed them to a couple of dealers at a show last month, but their read was that they were too wide for SS. However, I thought they still had a chance as shoulder board lengths and widths are often non-standard depending on the uniform type and the size of the wearer, especially if they're privately made like I think these were.
