Eyelets on Parka

Hi fellows!

I had several parkas and i saw a lot but i never saw eyelets on parkas.
What do you guys think what happened here?

I can't determine if they are originally manufactured to the parka but they do look it as they are old. Can't figure it out.

Imagine if it was discovered that this is a rare version parka (which of course I doubt) then you would probably see all kinds of parks popping up all of the sudden fabricated with grommets just to increase the value.

The grommets on the spring side are corresponding to the camo. I'll post pic's later on FYI:
