Manny knows boots. I don't like the gaiters. Never seen war time gaiters with the straps riveted on and metal loops to hold the straps in place.

If anyone tells you these are the standard Wehrmacht mountain troop boots ... well, stay as clear from this person as much as you do from these boots ...
Also the Stoffgamaschen (definately NO Wickelgamaschen !) are NO-GO !
