Great looking uniform (you only need to locate a German Cross in silver)

                  Thank you Ron.

Great tunic and matching riding pants! This one clearly shows honest field wear.

Hello guys, I think I might have found the General who has worn the greatcoat
I just purchased from my friend Giorgio...

I've looked at hundreds and hundreds of pictures from Generals today and there
was only 1 picture which shows the same feature as my greatcoat. I'm talking
about the angle of the red tissue. All the other greatcoats on period pictures don't
have this angle but are straight.

The general in question is Erich Fellgiebel.

                    What do you guys think?

The angle and length of the lapels are a little different as are the proportions. It is similar but I do not think it is the same coat. The one you posted is unusual. As you noted looking at the photos usually the cut on the lapels is sharper and to be honest the sewing of a higher quality for the facing cloth and panel cuts. Note how "sharp" the angles are in the period photo versus the coat you posted.

A very nice coat indeed, however, You'll simply never be able to put a name to an unnamed garment....needles and haystacks.
No doubt after Fellgiebels treachery both him his name and all his possessions would have been destroyed.
