I know they cost me an arm and a leg but in 5+ years who cares. I'll never upgrade or sell them. one day they will make it to the meusem of my choice for all those interested to see what a Heer front liner looked like. untill then, I enjoy him alone. Glenn
    Hi Glenn,
please don't get me wrong ...trousers are very, very nice and you'd be hard-pressed finding a better pair ...thing is that I'm on your side and if it's true that I'm glad you've found such a beautiful piece,it's even more true that you've paid just about twice their value even if money's yours and you've got all the rights to spend it the way you like best!
They're a mint pair, the year they've been made is the year stamped on the pieces you collect, takes a long time to complete a setup and all kind of things but I'm willing to bet my money that within a few days dealers will start price trousers accordingly;it's not my problem, since I've got my sources and nearly fifty pairs of pants of all styles, but what about the next time you'll ask that dealer for another pair? He'll say to himself"Geez...here comes this guy again...last time he paid a Grand-and-a-half for a pair of trousers without a blink...this time I'll rise the price/sell him a feldmutze for $1500!";I've seen this kind of things happening over and over again along the years!
I'll tell you again, I'm happy you've found such a killer pair Glenn ,but at the same time I'm sorry for you(no matter if you earn each dime with sweat and blood or if you're richer than Mr. G.W.Bush!) since(let me tell you straight and brotherly)this looks like one of those cases in which a collector is scre##d even if he buys a 55454% genuine piece!
Now...feel free to tell me that I'd better mind my own business and stuff...you'd be right as you could be, but since you're a collector(and a young one to boot, I'd dare to add!) I'm 101% on your side...certainly not on that dealer's !
    Respectfully
    Manny

Yes I agree with what is being said about the price. M43's come up for sale more often than not in the $750 to $850 range from the top dealers.

However you did get a very nice pair.

Glenn, can we see a picture of the underside of the watch fob pocket on the interior of the pants?
