My first tunic

It is an original issue factory tunic upgraded for an "officer", it this case a senior medical officer candidate or Unterarzte. Hard to tell from pictures if the insignia is all period sewn but it looks good.

Thanks for the fast response and the good news. I really worked it over in my mind before I bought it today at the flea market. At first I was sure that it was some Hollywood piece, but the more I looked at it, the better I felt so I took the chance and bought it.
