Medical sonderführer..?..

Hello all,

This area of sonderführer is quite new to me but very relevant to my collecting interest as I have understood that already educated (in peacetime) medical doctors could be serving in the WH etc as sonderführer.

I have bought these boards on ebay and I would like to know if this is the real thing..?..

They have never been used as I can see, the do not match completely.

They are with the metal wiring as on officers boards, but the underside is looking almost like velvet..?..can that be true..?..

Or, very important..are these non-ww2 items.?.

Those would be Imperial German boards......WW2 Sonderfuhrer boards would have Red, White and Black chevrons in it. Like this one.

They are Imperial boards. I believe the black chevrons are for Prussian units.
