These medic armband are always hard to tell !! what is the writing by the clasp say ??

I doubt that it is German based on the buckle and overall construction...
A better picture of the handwritten text would be a crucial clue! I vote French.
They did of course use foreign made captured armbands as well...in case it was found in a German lot!
Post it in the international section of German civil section where DRK is discussed!
