Question on white(snow) 2 piece cover suit ???

Ok,
I will tell you right off , I do not know anything about this suit or WW2 German items in general. I collected a little years ago and now I'm here on the Vietnam era section. These were given to by a neighbor. The pair are well used and many field repairs. I'm quessing post war most likely . The hood is big enough to fit over a helmet. It is lighter weight cotton by the looks of it. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

Here is the stamp in the pants . It is clear. The stamp on the top has a big 2 and some letters and numbers. Just not as clear. All adjustments are drawstring.

Two last pictures. Behind the hood , the material is pleated. This set is big enough to go over heavy clothing.

Anyone want to make a guess. It appears to be German but what time frame.

The stamp in post #2 is an RB number stamp. If original, the stamp would indicate WWII German manufacture. But I am suspicious that the stamp is a fake.
