      Sorry, I don't understand.
Field job for what? Heer SB?

The picture is from a movie.

      Bests

The shoulder boards are "field job"(I mean hand job, not company job). Its happened all the time. Soldiers just used what they could find (when they lost/damage some parts of uniform). Is it Deutsche Wochenschau movie? Whats part?

          Hello Bono,

          Thanks for the reply.
I may seem bonker but I still don't understand.
I know what a field made is, but still don't understand what kind of shoulderboards are supposed to be.
I mean, I need to know if they are supposed to be Heer or whatever else (they don't seem to be WSS to my knowledge).

As far as I know that's a late war Wochenschau.

My vote-its WH. The ss used covers on helmets. But its only my suggestion.

They are just film prop shoulder straps ... they don't mean anything and are not intended to stand up to close scrutiny.

                    Hello Ian,

                    Thanks for your reply.

Well, the movie is actually a late war propaganda newsreel and the action is very real, the men are real soldiers and they are doing some serious fightings, so the SB must be real too IMO.

                    Thanks

                      Most likely a Heer Oberfeldwebel.
