    Hi Guys
Just wanted to check with more experienced collectors about this wrap.
    Thanks for your time.

    Cheers

Has it been modified to button like a typical (civilian) single breasted jacket?

          Hi OSS,

I think not, but missing trances of the buttons, which as per me must be about under the right part of the collar, makes my feel bad.

          Cheers

Looks like it was modified for post war wear. Shoulder board slots stitched up and buttons moved. Just my 3/4 of a cent worth.

the jacket itself is original (Rau & Scheller).

here is a Rau & Scheller out of my collection (insignia original to that tunic except of the skulls imo) - note the different lining:

Correct, as OSS already implied, it clearly has been modified.

                        Hi
                        Thanks for the interest.
Modified for post war wearing perhaps.
That is why the buttons were moved as well - to look like a civilian jacket.
The shoulder boards hangers were removed as well.

                        Cheers

                        George
