Lebensborn Armbands: Any new info?

Due to my own ignorance (and trusting what I thought was a reputable seller) I am the unfortunate owner of one of these "armbands". I've had it for 5 years and just recently discovered that their authenticity has been under question for at least that long. I'm wondering if anybody can give me any new information on them, ie: original source, dealer's opinions at recent shows, or cases of them being acknowledged by the seller as fantasy. I plan to contact the seller to see what they have to say but I would like some up-to-date stats before I open that can of worms.

I would think the statute of limitations for a refund would have run out after 5 years. We have all got stuck by reproductions at one time or other in our collecting.

Hi Kevin

I am sorry to hear that you were ripped off with this repro. It I am sure leaves a bad taste in your mouth and probably keeps you awake at night as it would me. I would honestly take it back to the person you have purchased it from and ask for your money back. If it was me and I had of sold it to you I would give you your money back without an issue as I stand behind what I sell but not everybody does that. I hope it works out for you in the end in a positive way

It was a semi-secret organization, I doubt they had any armbands close to this. The units that kidnapped children where disguised as regular medical units.
