Would this style of eagle also be worn on a combat jacket as well? Say for an NCO?

Hello,

Brett, the major use of this tunic eagle was for the Waffenrock. The second pattern eagle came out about a year and a half to two years later and was more asthetically pleasing. Although flatwires were sometimes used by NCOs and Officers on combat tunics you do not see this one worn much.
