Gentlemen,
on behalf of some members which couldn't view the WAF hosted photos I have decided to recreate this thread.
The parka was found in the 2nd borough of Budapest, Hungary, in the basement of an old house.
It has never been cleaned or messed with.
As you can see this parka is very well worn with some repairs and period reworked β extended cuffs.
All buttons are present and sit tight, plus itβs also nicely size marked.
The jacket must have belonged to a lazy Landser at some point,
because he has just applied some new white paint over all the dirt - but in the end this was done quite often.
I wish this piece could talk β well it certainly does in some way,right?
Maybe it was worn during the heavy Battle of Budapest? β Who knows.
I will let the photos do the talking now.
