I like to know what you think of this nice 'Hauptmann Gebirgsjäger' Uniform Grouping - 'Gebirgs-Jäger-Regiment 136'. The group is consisting of his service tunic, field-grey riding breeches and Visor Cap. This is a nice M36 tunic which has been re-tailored into an officer's tunic. The tunic is in overall very good condition with light age and wear toning and some small moth damages. The buttons are all the field-grey pebbled examples. Tunic has nice quality Shoulder-boards of the sew-in type, collar tabs, an Edelweiß insignia and a hand embroidered breasteagle, all in good condition and all original applied. The tunic is nicely marked and dated for the 'Lago München' 1938. The Riding breeches are privately purchased breeches made of good quality field-grey wool. There are some small moth damages to the breeches. The Visor Cap is in very nice condition with all insignia original applied, there is some staining caused by sweat, the sweat-diamond is missing. There is a repair in the front of the visor, some new stiching, if that is period, do not know.
The name of this Hauptmann was 'Brinkmann', but the different parts are unfortunately not named. How is it possible to knwo more of Hauptmann Brinkmann??
